We have extensive experience of developing and delivering training to different healthcare professionals, including training in structured forensic risk assessments, and a range of topics important for working with forensic clients.
The era of Covid-19 brings a range of challenges, and we recognise that everyone has differing needs and preferences within this. In response to this, we are offering our training both online and in-person, so you can choose the option that is most comfortable for you.
We recognise that mental well being is a particularly relevant topic at present. See our ‘Taking care of us; self-care and organisational well-being’ page for further information as to how we can support you and your workforce.
Our range of ‘Understanding and working with…’ courses cover areas such as the basics of working with risk, or different presentations such as personality disorder, and are perfect for services moving in to forensic working and looking to develop their staff team.
We also offer courses in which we comprehensively look at key risk assessment tools, such as the HCR-20 V3 and SAPROF. These training events explore evidence based risk factors in more detail as we develop your understanding of the tool and how it can be used to help inform treatment needs and risk management strategies.
Your place, ours, or online? We are pleased to offer tailor-made training for the specific needs of your service. This is a great way for you to keep costs down by providing a venue if you wish to, or moving the training online, allowing training delegates more time to use our expertise to explore issues related to their work, and ensure that training content is informed by the needs of your service.
We will meet with you beforehand to discuss your needs, design the training around this, and provide you with detailed costing breakdowns, allowing you to make budget-appropriate decisions.
Visit our training pages to find out more or contact us directly to discuss your needs and budget. Alternatively, sign up to our mailing list to receive information about scheduled events and training.
